Hey all, I know this topic has been beat to death (by me even), but it looks like we finally might be ready to evaluate change management systems, and i had a couple of questions that aren't answered in the archives. - I'm not looking to rehash what's already in the archives, just looking for the answers to the questions at the bottom of this post. First a little background: It must be gui. It must be multi-platform, with strong iseries implementation. We will be using it for the following application environments: iSeries: traditional rpg, cobol, etc, some IFS related stuff - HTML, javascript, net.data, eventually WDSC. WinNT: Peoplesoft, Cognos, Oracle, MS Access. Crystal Reports. Our plan is to evaluate the top 3 iseries CMS vendors (aldon, softlanding, MKS) but will consider others if they meet requirements. Now, my questions: In your experience; 1. Who has the best multi-platform support? - i.e. we don't want a package where support for one platform is good, but other(s) are an add-on or after thought. 2. We'd like the vendor (or a qualified consultant) to come on-site, for setup and training - ideally for as long as it takes to install the product, interview users, devise/design a strategy, and configure, set up, test and train users on the system. Do any of the major players provide this service? Responses from vendors welcome. Thanks! Rick.
