We have ASC's SEQUEL product, and among other things it will:

1.  Display the contents of an outqueue in a browser.  All spool files in 
the outqueue are links.  Click on a link and it displays the spool file. 
If the spool file uses any fancy AFP stuff, it converts it to PDF on the 
fly.

2.  Run Query/400 queries and display the results in the browser.

3.  Convert Query/400 queries to SEQUEL queries.

All of SEQUEL's browser based stuff passes parms in the query string.  So 
it would be easy to build your own front end for it (and Net.Data's as 
good a choice as any; we use it around here).
