Re: Infoprint Designer and Server

We are just now getting up to speed on Designer and our new 2085
printers by hiring outside help to come in and train us.  One of the
things I have concluded is that the old AFP Utilities package (green
screen) probably would have been better for our purposes.  But then I'm
a DOS-command-line-kinda guy, so draw your own conclusions.  Designer
documentation is cryptic and confusing, what little bit there is of it.
 The product annoyingly allows only one user at a time to work on
projects, although multiple pc's can have the software loaded.  It also
requires that you run the FTP server on the AS400, whick means you had
better be prepared to write an exit program to lock it down.
