Exactly.  Been a while, but as I recall we actually resolved from splf to
the mbr in QSPL which basically looks alot like the splf data (if SCS) and
you have alot of parsing and transation to do.

There used to few good splf data stream manuals on that, but there were
very hard to find back when....
