What do you mean with "properly"? Not updating or writing
wrong data?

Anyway, the usage is:

copy QAOCL/QAYTBFMCFG in a backup library

create a copy of the member AFUSERFIN in AFUSERMAR in the
file QAOCL/QAYTBFMCFG

issue CALL PGM(QYTBFUPDT) PARM('-f
/QSYS.LIB/QAOCL.LIB/QAYTBFMCFG.FILE/AFRUSERFI
N.MBR                          ' '-o
/QSYS.LIB/QAOCL.LIB/QAYTBFMCFG.FILE/AFRUSER
MAR.MBR                          ' '-v                     
                    
    ')

when prompted just provide the information that supposed to
be in the input file from the keyboard (i.e. A 0 5 5 0x8000
NONE C0N01234 My Font/My Font/My Font/My Font/Outline)
the first time nothing happens, try a second one and the
shell should answer with a note repeating the font
information. Add the other font's string.

PRESS F4 and then Enter

now in the member AFRUSRMAR you should find the records as
you expect.

delete the member AFRUSRFIN, rename AFRUSRMAR in AFRUSRFIN

run the fliplist: call qytbflist

I tested it on V5R2, if not working post the data about the
program QYTBFUPDT and your PTF level so we can make a
comparision.
