It's not as easy as you think.  You have to use an LPP to create the
software load:

5722SM1 (I believe from memory)

It's a bit of work, but worth it to show up on GO LICPGM option 10, and to
be able to create real PTFs.

I am a newbie to AS400 and am developing  a package that Id like to have
installed
using the "NORMAL" ( native ) commands on the AS400.

Any good directions that someone could point me towards?
