Not trying to beat a dead horse here or anything.

While TSPLPRD solves some problems with LPD/LPR (aka RMTOUTQ) you're still
limited by the uni-directional nature of the communication.

You'd be much better off using *IBMPJLDRV, *IBMSNMPDRV, *IBMIPPDRV.

IPP doesn't appear to require any special on the printer itself, just the
print server.  With IPP print servers available for as low as $50-$60 that's
what I'd be using if I needed to.
