Not to muddy the waters here, but you may have noticed some of the answers
you've received were just a bit in conflict (and yet were also correct).
The reason is that DFU can be found in two different products....

5722-WDS provides the ability to work with DFU programs (create them,
change them, etc.), but the runtime for an existing DFU program and the
ability to create a temporary DFU program is in 5722-SS1.  If you were to
dltlicpgm licpgm(5722WDS) option(21) you would find, for instance, that
strdfu still presented options 1 and 5 (while 2, 3, and 4 were no longer
available).  Conceptually it's similiar to needing the RPG compiler to
create a RPG program, but not needing the compiler to run the program on a

Anybody know off the top of their head the product code for DFU? I know
that Query, for example is 57xx-QU1. Isn't DFU built into 57xx-PW1
(Application Development Toolset)?
