I thought Safari uses the KHTML engine (like Konqueror), not Gecko.  We 
have some stuff that works nicely with Gecko (and whatever runs IE 
5.5/6.0, and Opera 5), but Safari doesn't like it.

well, Safari and Firewfox run the mozilla engine, so is no suprise 
Netscape
wouldn't work either.  They all run Mozilla.
