You need to look up the user's workstation message queue(s), then send the break message to those queues. Perhaps you could use the output from the QUSLJOB API, since both job names and workstation message queue names are normally the same as the device name. Also, what if a user is signed on to more than one device? Would you want the break message to only go to one terminal, or to all of them? Not simple, I'm afraid, not easy, I'm afraid, but if you really need it, it's not quite a "you can't get there from here" situation. -- JHHL
