If I remember correctly (and it has been seven years) the original design
for the 600/620 is the 600 would have been upgradable in the field to a 620
by sending in a new (partial) 620 cabinet. and lifting the 600 on top of
the bottom part of that "L" shaped cabinet to fill out the 620.  I don't
think that was the way that it played out, but that was the design point.
