Certainly worth trying - I've run RCLDLO *ALL and it's never taken more than 20 minutes. But whether it makes enough space or index space to allow the full backup to be restored is debatable. If it's not currently in use (i.e. by the restore job), could they DSPLIB QDOC to find the Number of objects ? The limit changed with each release.
