Jimmy,

1) After connecting to the iSeries via FTP, type "quote site namefmt 1" -
this will put you into IFS naming convention

2) If you have a folder in the IFS named (for example) UPLOADS,
    "CD /UPLOADS" will make this folder the default

3) Then PUT the file  "PUT file.ext file.ext"
