Hi Al,

Do you know if this also limits queries in batch? I was looking at this
yesterday and to me it seemed like it would limit all queries, whereas we
don't want to limit batch.

There is a system value, QQRYTIMLMT, but then you must put a reply list
entry in to auto reply to the message that is issued.

It is important to note that the query engine does an estimate, and rejects
or accepts the use of the query based on that estimate, but it is an
estimate.  If it's the first time that a query has run, the estimate is a
bad guess, at best.  As the query against that file is run more and more,
the estimate gets more accurate.
