As I said in another mail, we start at 2GB after IPL and go up to 8GB in a week
(we do IPL
every sunday).

On that day, we had warnings for interactive capacity reached in the evening,
and I also found
two interactive joblogs with about 10.000 pages around that time. The joblogs
only showed
thousands of device errors, so I guess it was some kind of recovery loop.
Looks like it went up about 30GB in 2-3 hours <grr>

Whenever I found temp storage going above 10GB (2-3 times a year), it was
always a query
building an temporary index.
I have some knowledge base articles for limiting this, but fear side effects..

Regards,

Oliver

ps. Is there a simple way to monitor temp storage usage?
