You can set hot spots (Edit->Preferences->Hotspots) to Execute URL, anything with a correct format (http://abc.def.com or malito://abc@xxxxxxx) will fire up the application that pertains. If you choose to have a 3D button, the URL is put into a button. However, this does not happen on an input-capable field, such as a command line - there you do not get the button, but you can still click on the URL and have it executed.

There is the HTML keyword in DDS for display files. This was used by Workstation Gateway, which is no longer usable in current releases, IIRC. The PC5250 emulator ignores this keyword.

BTW, I had tried to send this with a series of the letter between 'w' and 'y' and got an undeliverable message ;-) interesting vis-a-vis the other thread on spam, eh?
