Hi,

We are trying to send the an IFS document to mainframe system through FTP.
Though the transfer is successful, the target dataset in the remote machine is
getting appended with the userID with which we have logged on in the FTP
session.

After consulting the mainframe programmers we introduced the quotes(single)
around the dataset name and included the subcommand QUOtesoverride. But the
result is same.
However, same specifications work very fine when I try to transfer from DOS
prompt.

These are the command I have used in the FTP session

UserID
Password
Namefmt 1(For HFS)

QUOTE SITE CYL PRI=200 SEC=50 RECFM=FB LRECL=550 QUOtesoverride (This is to set
the space/rec fmt length in the remote system)

PUT /QDLS/mydoc.txt 'dataset name'

After this the target dataset name gets appended with the userID
(UserID.dataset name)

Can anyone suggest/help on how to go about this.

Thanks
Vishnu
