I'm doing an upgrade from an F35 to a 720 in a couple of weeks (data
conversion only). I'll check to see if they have the right kind of
cartridge. How urgent is your need?

 Message . . . . : Volume on device TAP01 cannot be processed.

 Cause . . . . . : One of the following occurred:

-- The volume loaded on device TAP01 cannot be processed, because the

format or density is not correct.

-- The tape may be a new or blank tape that has not been initialized.

-- The tape may not have an IBM-standard labeled sequence if the
volume
i
a 1/4 inch cartridge tape or an 8 millimeter cartridge tape, and the

cartridge was created on a system other than an AS/400 system.

-- The tape may contain data which was compacted and device TAP01 can
not
read compacted data if the device is a 1/2 inch cartridge tape unit.

-- The operator loaded a different volume during file processing.

-- The tape unit needs cleaning
