<snip> IBM should have called this V5R2M1, but alternatively chose to cheap out. This makes about as much sense as a screen door in a submarine. </snip> I agree Al, they should have, and it is the second time this has been done in the recent past. Once a V5R1 and now V5R2. Mainly when I have had problems, it has been resolved by a "bunch if IPLs" (read a long long time, the last one, a full coffee pots worth!) and a NEW cumulative fix package that gets partially applied about 3 times before the whole thing finally gets on and then life is good. To avoid problems, get a copy of the refresh code. (I carry a new copy with me everywhere just in case) Jim Oberholtzer Senior Solutions Architect Computech Resources, Inc.
