In my experience Jim most of the fuzziness comes from changing sizes in the application. Save at sizes as close to the finished size as possible. Avoid "zoom to fit the window". However when you are cleaning it up expand it to 300% or 400% and then when you clean edges you can be a lot more accurate. --------------------------------------------------------- Booth Martin http://www.MartinVT.com Booth@xxxxxxxxxxxx --------------------------------------------------------- -------Original Message------- From: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Date: Saturday, October 11, 2003 2:32:21 PM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: Re: logo graphics design tool >you or someone with artistic skills can do artwork manually on paper >and scan that. I've scanned several logos from customer documents and brochures. (unfortunately they no longer or never had the artwork files). The .gif or .jpg image for webserver, or conversion to as400 overlay has always been rough around edges and unprofessional looking. If I have to scan, I need a product that can clean it up, or same product to draw a new logo. jim
