Great to hear that thinks worked so smooth for you. Rob Berendt -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." I used the cable from my 820's OP's console. The new Installation Wizard is just great and much better than V5R1 access. It stepped through the complete process and the only thing you needed the book for was the directory location for the 'fake' modem. It connected to my 820 without a problem. I disconnected the Op's console and I upgraded my V5R1 Op's console to V5R2, installed the service pack, reconnected the cable from the 820 and it connected without having to reconfigure anything (this isn't what Support Line said last week, they said you had to do the configuration over again). I needed to have this done before my V5R2 (from V5R1) upgrade this weekend. _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
