Howdy everyone! (cross-posted to MIDRANGE-L and Ignite/400) Just wondering who has working experience with these programs. In order to find out information, it seems I have to enroll, and I'm reluctant to enroll because it wants me to accept agreements, and the agreements have words like "payment" in them <grin>. It seems that IBM is trying to roll all its software into this one plan, but I wonder what that means for those of us who have already paid (in some cases, pretty significantly) for software subscription. It seems to me that there are some inconsistencies with that traditional iSeries software maintenance model. Basic questions: 1. What kind of software do you get here? 1a. Workstation software, like WDSCi 1b. Host software, like 5722ST1 1c. Service packs 1d. PTFs 2. Does it cost anything additional for iSeries customers? 3. Does it work? I understand that the Passport Advantage Express is basically is a "pay as you go" program, in that you pay when you actually download something. It would seem to me that if I have an OS/400 license for 5722WDS and I go to download WDSCi, that I should not be charged. Is this your understanding? Anything else you want to say about this program? Joe
