I showed this code, without any comments, to two of our programmers here. 
One's been coding for 4 years, the other 2.  Both code mostly in RPG-III
(we deal with a software package here) and one also codes new apps in
RPG-IV.  I asked if they could tell me what it did.  Blank stares from
both of them.

After I explained, they both knew how they would do it without using MR.
