We're V5R1 so I can't do the wireless management yet. I was wondering
if anyone on the list had set it up yet. I get by with the Mochasoft
product. Tiny tiny text but it is surprisingly usable for quick 'n'
dirty stuff.

Our company is using BizConn. It's OK, but is still in many ways a 1.0
product. It needs faster syncing and access to more than the standard
folders to be truly useful.

Oh, you should get the Treo Updater if you haven't already. No new
features but it'll noticeably speed up the Palm side of the unit and the
time it takes to switch from Phone to Palm. Go to www.sprintpcs.com,
sign in, in My Options select Download Software, select Palm OS 3.5,
then select Treo300 Updater 1.21.

(OK, enough bothering the list. Anything else we should probably take
off-list.)

Hi John, I use Eudora POP3 fro email access and leave the messages on
our exchange server UNLESS I delete them on my Treo. This way I can
wade thru the emails when I am out of the office, and keep the ones I
need to have on my laptop. It works very well. We SPAM filter the
message on the exchange server, so the traffic is not too bad and my
list server mail goes to a different email address as well. One day the
SPAM filter was down and I downloaded about 105 message in less than 5
minutes. I was pretty impressed with the speed.

Are you using the iSeries mobile management? I just connect with the
mochasoft Telnet emulator and use the (small) green screen interface.
Despite the small size, it works well. I would put the Treo600 on the
"must have" list for doing support. cjg

I, too, have the Treo 300 and can't wait for the 600. For others on the
list, http://www.handspring.com/treo600/index.jhtml provides some
details on the upcoming phone's capabilities. I'm lucky that my company
pays for my mobile phone and cable internet at home (I telecommute on
occasion). My boss has already agreed to let me trade up to the 600
when it's released (he wants one, too). Do you use BizConn or some
other email like Eudora?

Does anyone here use the iSeriess Access for Mobile/Wireless to do
systems management from their phone?
