I guess that is a possibility, but all the PCs are in one location and they run other apps with no problems and issues... The only thing failing is CA. Also ( contracting here short term), I would hope that their antivirus software is up to date... Everything actually started when a DHCP server was changed... The leases expire only after 5 days and since they are based on the MAC address, they would not be trying to obtain a new IP every day and these things drop every day at the same time... We changed 5 PCs to static IPs, so we'll see tomorrow if that works... -----Original Message----- From: Neil Palmer <neilp@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 11 Sep 2003 16:50:23 -0400 Subject: Re: Sessions dropping > Any chance the PC's are infected and flooding the network with enough > useless traffic to occasionally choke off the sessions? > > ....Neil > > > > > "Uros Davidovic" <Uros_Davidovic@xxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent by: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx > 2003/09/11 09:38 > > > > To > "Midrange Systems Technical Discussion" <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx>, > "Scott > Klement" <klemscot@xxxxxxxxxxxx> > cc > > Subject > Re: Sessions dropping > > > > > > > > > > > > We have had users that have had session drop for no apparent > reason. > > The > > > sessions go to a black screen, the 400 job is still out there and > it > > the > > > old "session stopped per request from the device" message is in the > > > joblog.
