Hello,

Is there anyway to filter out specific messages going to the *MSGQ *SYSOPR
?

We have a monitor batch job that is schedule to end other
jobs whenever the conditions for termination are found.

I understand that the *MSGQ can be set to *BREAK mode
with a filter level higher than 50 ... but this is not
what I am looking for.

Specifically, we want to filter out the MSGID CPC1125.
Msg CPC1125 reads .. : Job &3/&2/&1 was ended by user &4
...
And the severity of this message is 50.

This filtering should occur only and only if those jobs
are being cancelled by our monitor job .. othwerwise
we want the messages to go to the *MSGQ *SYSOPR.

We still want the messages to go to the history log but not
to the *MSGQ *SYSOPR.

I have look into the aspects of the submitted job command
(SBMJOB), and the (ENDJOB) command .. and have not been able to
figure this out.

I am not sure that this is possible.

Thanks for your opinions.
