Um, Why? It makes perfect economic sense for MS to not write one. They want
you to upgrade to use these new features. I never argued that they didn't
want you to upgrade, nor did I argue they they don't "force" you to upgrade
to use new software, just that they don't force you to upgrade to run the
same software (and hardware) you always did.
