Well,

IBM gave me @#$% after I last recommended running a full RCLSTG after every
abnormal termination, but I stand by my words.

RCLSTG came into being early in the life of the System/38, when the CPF was
buggy. It just isn't that buggy today.

Mark,

It will be difficult to estimate even for someone running a like
configuration. If you are doing a full RCLSTG say monthly, it will take
less time than someone who has never ran one or has had more time pass
by since their last run of RCLSTG.

I can hear Al Barsa coming after me already! :-) IBM now says you
should only run RCLSTG after an abnormal event such as a power outage or
problem. The best you are going to get is a SWAG.

Regards,

Mike Shaw

I know IBM says there is no way to estimate but if anyone has a similar
config to mine (see below) and has done one I would appreciate how long
it took.
