Image catalogs are not(to my knowledge) PTFed to V4R5. I had to do a V4R5
to V5R2 upgrade last weekend, and though I could not use the image catalog
function for the upgrade I did use it for the PTF's. I created two image
catalogs on my V5R2 test system, one for the cumulative package, and the
other for the rest of the PTF packages. Then I saved the IFS directories
containing the optical files using TGTRLS(V4R5M0) and restored them to the
V4R5 system. After I finished the upgrade I created the virtual optical
device and used the SAVRSTOBJ command (ObjectConnect - 5722SS1 Option 22) to
send the *IMGCLG objects from QUSRSYS to the newly upgraded system. I could
then do the LODIMGCLG and apply the PTF's.

Subject: Image Catalogs on V4R5?

Are image catalogs available (via PTF?) on V4R5? I have a V4R5 to V5R2
upgrade coming up and I'd love to use them, both as a time saver, and so I
"know" the CDs are good.
