Hi all, Just to let you know, Further to my mail about the problem I was having with Office Vision mail which uses SNDDST, wherein the max no. of 9999 distributions were written, I have found the solution to be complete on doing the following: 1. This is a recognised bug and IBM has provided a PTF for it in V4R4. Here's the link: http://www-912.ibm.com/ImprovedSearch/SearchBroker?selScope=PTF&q=CPD90B1&ac tion=fromMasthead 2. If you already have the PTF, it is also wise to know the working of the Mailing on the AS400 - Every mail sent creates a distribution entry, for attached to the sender's user id and also a distribution entry for each recipient. - A distribution is NOT deleted unless the entries in each of the recipient's inbound mail, and also the entry in the sender's outgoing mail, are deleted. I dont know why this is the case, but just know that this is so. Maybe someone could throw some light on this. - The command CHGDSTA allows one to choose between using, or not using MSF for local mailing. The bug, mentioned above, manifests as I understand, if the choice for this parameter is *YES and you do not have the PTF. One could skirt around this problem by using *NO, but this would still not save you from having to do the deletions of the entries as mentioned. 3. So, if you have the PTF and regularly delete the entries, the above problem should not occur. (I must mention the contribution of Vern Hamberg and Tom Liotta which helped me to solve the problem! Thanks once again!)
