Rob As far as hardware is concerned, wouldn't you base that on the number and type of hits the server gets? Does the server get 3,000 visitors each week? Does each visit result in an order? Or is it the type of business that sends out an email blast each week which attracts 3,000,000 visitors with only .1% of the visitors placing an order? How many dynamically generated Web pages during an average visit? How many static pages? How many images referenced in an average Web page?
