Your previous install was dirty?

Since this would appear to be a home machine it's probably not critical
either way.  My personal thought is that I get a lot more practice with
installs than DR restores, so I'd probably do the restore.  Also, if you
have custom objects in QUSRSYS or the other "user libs" that start with Q
you won't get those with an install from the CD's; you'll have restore those
from your backups anyway.
