I was hoping that some third party had put together a ssh package for the AS/400.

About IBM SSL feature - does it not require cryptographic support? Your comment about requiring much help implies that implementation is a bit complex or am I reading this, incorrectly.

Unfortunately the iSeries does not have ssh.  But I've just configured SSL
on a machine here (with a lot of help from others) which can be used with
client access.  I believe SSL is available from v4r2 onwards.
