Nathan, Why is a products name so important? Here is some technical info on the recent MS announcement of Office 2003. http://www.microsoft.com/office/preview/developer/default.asp "Using the support for customer-defined Extensible Markup Language (XML) schemas and XML Web services in Office 2003, developers can more easily build documents and applications that connect with business processes and data. In addition, new tools in Office 2003 help you build managed code for the Microsoft .NET Framework and take advantage of the ease and security of deploying solutions from a server." .NET and XML are core to office 2003. as400 programmers will earn more $$ if they know how to code in a .net managed code language like VB.NET or C#. Given the history of Microsoft reinventing its development tools every few years, this shouldn't surprise me. But it did. Anyone know of similar reports? Nathan M. Andelin www.relational-data.com
