Probably takes an SQL procedure to do this, but don't really know. However, since you're using QM Query, you're in luck. Just do this as a select, connecting to the remote database. Then to run, use STRQMQRY OUTPUT(*OUTFILE) OUTFILE(LIB/FILEOUT) OUTMBR(*FIRST *REPLACE) to save the result set to your local file. The sql executes on the remote box, and returns results only.
