Simon,

Just got off the phone with IBM, and since I only deleted the two instances
mentioned earlier, I only had to copy and add members ADMINA and APACHEDFT
from QHTTPSVR/QATMINSTC to QUSRSYS/QATMINSTC.

The configuration files associated with each default/canned instances are
stored on the IFS, and they were not affected by my stupidity.

Again thanks, we were both on the right path.

Subject: RE: HTTP Server (Apache) - deleted ADMINA and APACHEDFT
Instancesbymistake

Simon,

Thanks for your help, but your suggestion concerning QATMHINSTA is for the
original HTTP server. It has only one member and one record within and it
makes reference to ADMIN and DEFAULT, not the Apache
instances/configurations, i.e. ADMINA and APACHEDFT. I also checked my
other AS/400 which has both HTTP Servers (original and Apache) installed
correctly and they weren't screwed up by me, and it shows the same. Again I
think all the Apache stuff is on the IFS, but where?

I am afraid to uninstall HTTP and re-install it and apply the re-apply the
PTFs. I might make things worst. Our present dynamic web site is running
under the original HTTP server. I am assuming by uninstalling HTTP, via GO
LICPGM, that both the original and Apache will be uninstalled, and I will
lose all my configurations including SSL, etc.

I think I'll give IBM a call, and see what suggestions they may have. I am
assuming they still honor my software service contract. I have been getting
all kinds of mail from them about discontinuing it.

I will let you know what I find out.

Again thanks and I like the name of your company.

Hello John,

Have a look in the QHTTPSVR/QATMHINSTA file and check the records in the
members. I think you'll find that one of them points to the config file.

If all else fails you'll probably have get them from the last full system
save, or reinstall the HTTP server and re-apply PTFs.

Regards,
Simon Coulter.
