I had already done that; it contains only one member, CONFIG, which is used
for the "original" HTTP server.  I have already looked at the members for
other similar files without success.  I was also able to find the "original"
ADMIN as well in another file.

I also searched the IFS for these definitions, also without success.  Of
course I could have missed them.  We have another AS/400 and it can find
them through Operations Navigator but not through CFGTFP, etc.  Which leads
me to conclude they are buried in the IFS.  But where?

Have a look in the QHTTPSVR library.  I think you will find a set of
default instance definitions in the QATMHTTPC file. It's been a while
since I checked an Apache system but I'm sure I recall seeing those
definitions in there.
