Option 1 - put the necessary CL commands in you startup program
Option 2 - create job descriptions with the commands in the request data;
set up the jobd's as AJE's in your controlling subsystem
Option 3 - If you IPL your machine at the same, regular time, a job schedule
entry might be ok

Don't forget to 'configure TCP/IP applications' (CFGTCP, menu opt 20) and
check the 'autostart server' values for the IP services you use.

Subject: TCP/IP start automatically on IPL

How do I get TCP/IP to start automatically on IPL ???
I've looked up the appropriate books, but either I'm having one of my
brain-dead days or the information isn't there.
(background info : I have an F10 running V3R2 but only have a console on
loan, so will eventually need to IPL it without the console as I have no
intention of leaving it switched on permanently).

Kevin.

p.s. Can we please stop the political sewing circle and get back to midrange
topics. As Jan said, this is an international forum and it's supposed to be
apolitical. The information and expertise imparted by many is often
invaluable, but as far as this list is concerned, I have NO INTEREST in
anyone's political leanings or aspirations. If this rubbish continues I'm
leaving the list.
