Don't know what I can tell you ... I've got 9 sendmail queue's running currently ... and a backlog of 910 messages (each message to 1 or more recipients).

Internet performance is generally degraded due to the "Slapper" worm that is attacking hosts in hopes of infecting a unpatch MS SQL Server. I also have a significant number of messages that cannot be delivered due to mail servers being down. Mailman is tracking the undeliverable messages and will disable the subscription once it gets 5 bounces, but until then it will continue to try and send the mail.

Part of the problem may be due to the horsepower of the mail server ... which is only a 300mhz P2.
