Problem was a missmatch in the config between
(I have altered some info for security but u get the idea)

                        Change TCP/IP Domain (CHGTCPDMN)
 Type choices, press Enter.
 Host name  . . . . . . . . . . .   'REVXXXX'

 Domain name  . . . . . . . . . .   'SNA.IBM.COM'
===========================================================
                     Work with TCP/IP Host Table Entries

Type options, press Enter.
  1=Add   2=Change   4=Remove   5=Display   7=Rename
     Internet         Host
Opt  Address          Name
      nnn.nnn.nn.nnn   REVXXXX.APPN.SNA.IBM.COM
                       REVXXXX

When I changed the domain to the following, it worked!!!
                        Change TCP/IP Domain (CHGTCPDMN)
 Type choices, press Enter.
 Host name  . . . . . . . . . . .   'REVXXXX'

 Domain name  . . . . . . . . . .   'APPN.SNA.IBM.COM'
