It's a HP4050 with a Ethernet card.  It's a printer shared on the same
network as the AS400. You can ping it by name and IP address from the 400,
you can send a print job from the 400, the 400 says it is sending, but just
sit there.

Sounds as though this is not a Network Printer but a shared printer off of
