Actually on my w2k pc I have 19 open windows. This has been running all
week without any problems. Among these windows are:
5250 trace (working on an IBM problem)
six 5250 sessions
Notes 6
Code/400
3 MSIE browser sessions
Paint
iSeries Navigator
calculator
Excel
Adobe reader
Command prompt

In the tools tray I have:
Volume
Trend's virus protection
Sametime
The Weather Channel
Code's communication daemon
And my new mail indicator
And, of course, the current time.

According to Task Manager my CPU is at 3% and in the physical memory box
it has 654,816 of which 176,476 is available.
