Yeah, Rob, in the FTP session. But I do a CD in the DOS window, before running FTP. This is so that the download goes where I want it to go. This is instead of using the LCD (local change directory) in the FTP session, which is another way to control the download destination.

I assume you're not using a GUI FTP client.

So my process often is:

Open DOS (command) prompt
cd somedirectory
ftp host
...
(ftp client commands)
...
quit

exit
