I created a barcode to display a sales order for a customer.. When the
customer test the barcode the read the number numbercoes through with a B
appended. Where could this come from?? btw I am a total barcoding newbie
and copied this snippet of code from somewhere on the internet... so I
don't know what any of its is for...

my best guess is the X'02' on the end of the barcode statement....
 R BARCD
   SALORBCD 7A POSITION(.3 22)
                             BARCODE(CODE3OF9 2 *NOHRI -
                              *NOAST X'02')

 eval salorbcd = '2S' + %char(salors)
salors is defined as 5 0

It's not the destination that counts in life it's the journey. The journey
with the people we love is all that really matters. Such a simple truth so
easily forgotten.
