Infoprint server is great. We have just completed the beta program with Boulder for 5.2 and there is a ton of functionality being added. We currently use it under 5.1 to send a lot of business documents, like remittance advices, invoice copies etc. and it works great. AFP overlays are also picked up and the finished document is lovely. We simply use the override printer file command to add the mail tags etc in our batch runs. The exit program is also a great way to go as it offers more flexibility. In 5.2 a lot of the functionality is not available unless you use the exit programs. Do watch out between 5.1 and 5.2 some of the data structures change. 5.2 allows you to dress up the note a lot more but the solid function is there in 5.1. If you want to speak to me more about it you may contact me off line. Beverly R. Russell E.D. In the introduction and planning guide, reference is made to being able to associate the email address to send to with the printer device defined to create the PDF file. However, the users guide and the redbook omit any reference on how to do this. Has anyone tried to do this? If so, did it work and how do you do it. Thanks. -- Mike Buglass _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
