Art I just searched the knowledge base for QNTC. There are a number of articles that might relate. Nothing specific yet - maybe there's an APAR. I've been trying to work out something here, too. I found a sample listed at <ftp://testcase.software.ibm.com/as400/fromibm/ApiSamples /NTXFER.MBR> Vern > A customer upgraded to 5.1 and now all of the servers under QNTC show as CCSID > 0. Their system value QCCSID was set back to 65535, > so I changed that to 437, but still no luck. > > I'm not sure that the code page in QNTC was never NOT zero, but now, when we > view files using the "2" option in WRKLNK, they show > all garbage. > > If I CPY them to another directory, and specify 437 as the new code page, they > are OK. > > Thanks. > > _________________ > Art Tostaine, Jr. > CCA, Inc. > Jackson, NJ 08527 > > > _______________________________________________ > This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list > To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, > visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l > or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com > Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives > at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l. >
