We run QPFRADJ as '3' all the time on all eight systems, and let the
performance move as necessary. We even use out new software tool APRM,
which moves the performance from partition to partition when at the
partitions V5R1 or higher.

The '3' setting for QPFRADJ should be backed down to '2' when you do a
hardware upgrade. It's possible to add SO much memory that you cannot
complete the first IPL.

I currently have QPFRADJ set to zero (my pools are 120.83,459.27,10.25 &
165.63). Our system is 90% interactive (buyers and warehouse rf users),
the only true BATCH is at midnight (almost no uses). Our LPAR has the
other 10 % of the system.

Should I have QPFRADJ set to '3' and let the system adjust itself ?
