The afpds manual gets into more detail, I have found that on most
applications
that it is more test and print to see the results (like fitting on what you
have
available to print on)

Basically the 4 is for height (4 times the current font) and the
*nohri is to NOT display the human readable (ie: the numbers you see
at the bottom of a upc code)

There is also another parm *width so you can set the width of the
smallest barcode (some scanners have different tolerances as to what
they can read or not, and for most, the thicker the smallest bar,
the farther away it can read and be more accurate.

Subject: Need help with BARCODE() function on a PRTF

I am new to barcoding on printfiles. Can anyone explain what these parms
mean on this barcode function? I understand what the 'CODE3OF9' is, but what
does the '4' and the '*NOHRI' do?

A 71 TRN12 12 70
A BARCODE(CODE3OF9 4 *NOHRI)

Thanks,

Mark Taylor
