Yep, I started to mention that (scratch install) and that is what IBM will
tell you. But I would HATE to think of actually doing that as far back as
some of these folks are, and I speak from the experience of going from CISC
to RISC and all of that. The hardware changes of what is and isn't
supported, etc. from THAT far back would be very tricky without the programs
that you run to check for that kind of stuff as part of the prep. Not to
mention LP's that aren't supported, etc. Scary :-)
