Use ADDLICKEY sometimes that works better than the Wrk command.
Be sure and put V5R1M0 on version.

If you are not getting qsysopr messages that it will expire in 70 days than
you got it in right.

Subject: Upgrade to V5R1M0

Dear All,

That was my first time installing OS/400 (upgrade from V4R3M0 release).
I still don't understand about the license key that IBM given to me. I
already added the License Key using WRKLICINF and I put option number 1 in
the subset list of the software. and the result message was the license key
already added to bla bla bla ....
but when I saw using option 8 in that list .. I still saw that the grace
period of OS/400 was still 70 days ????

Is the license key also applied too ? like PTF ????

thanks for your answer .....

Best Regards,
Fery Gideon
